Open to work

Backend Developer. I turn ideas into complete web applications: polished interfaces, solid backend, and code built to last. Every project is an excuse to learn something new.

Rock 'n code 🤘

about me

I'm Sergio, a backend developer with over a year of experience in Java. I work as a freelance developer building custom web projects for clients across different sectors, from initial design through to final delivery.

I also spent time at Minsait, where I worked in Java on a large-scale corporate document management system. I like well-organized code: clean architecture, SOLID principles, and projects that are maintainable and scalable. I've worked both in backend (Java, NestJS, Laravel) and frontend (React), always with dockerized environments and version control from the first commit.

This is a marathon, not a sprint, and I don't like falling behind — so I use AI as an assistant in my work (SDD, LLMs), always applying my own judgment and staying in the driver's seat. I speak native Spanish and advanced English, and I'm looking to keep growing with national and international mobility, with a particular interest in international projects. And when I'm not coding, I'm probably listening to rock.
